Romans 14:8-12 [Judgement seat]

8 For if we live, we live to the Lord; and if we die, we die to the Lord. Therefore, whether we live or die, we are the Lord’s. 9 For to this end Christ died and rose and lived again, that He might be Lord of both the dead and the living. 10 But why do you judge your brother? Or why do you show contempt for your brother? For we shall all stand before the judgment seat of Christ. 11 For it is written:

“ As I live, says the LORD,
Every knee shall bow to Me,
And every tongue shall confess to God.”

12 So then each of us shall give account of himself to God. (Romans 14:8-12, New King James Version)

This is pretty clear! Everyone will answer to God. There's no way around it! My heart goes out to those unbelievers who think there is no God or believe they are their own gods. There's still time to accept Jesus Christ as your Saviour & King. There's a simple way to do it. Go here to follow God's Simple Plan of Salvation. You have nothing to lose. If you do not accept Jesus as Your Saviour you have everything to lose. There's nothing bad enough that God would not accept you. The blood of Jesus shed for each of us wipes away everything. Gives us a clean slate. Washed in the blood of the Lamb (Jesus).

I pray Father God that Your will and purpose is done here so that none should perish here on forth! No matter how long it take. I thank You for Your grace and mercy Father God. In Jesus' name, amen.

  1. I consider it such great joy to know there is a distinction between the Bema Seat of Christ (for believers), and the Judgment Seat of God (for unbelievers). We are, indeed, accountable, but the eternal implications couldn't be more dramatically different.

    Blessings,
    Kathleen
