Trust [20120111]

Yesterday I posted my word/life scripture for 2012. Today I'd like to expand on it a little bit.

The definition of my word:
Trust
noun
Reliance on the integrity strength, ability, surety, etc., of a person or thing; confidence.
verb
To have trust or confidence in; rely or depend on.

It's hard to trust people when one has been mistreated and lied to. Especially when one has been betrayed.

There is ONE who we can fully trust. That ONE is Yahweh/Yeshua.

Just as scripture says:

• Proverbs 3:5: Trust in ADONAI with all your heart; do not rely on your own understanding.
• Nahum 1:7: The Lord is good, A stronghold in the day of trouble; And He knows those who trust in Him.
• Isaiah 26:4: Trust in the Lord always, for the Lord God is the eternal Rock.

When we rely on our own understanding we get into strife. The adversary is cunning and sly. We must learn to know that without GOD we're completely and utterly lost! Trust HIM today and let HIM be your guide in life.

2012 Life Scriptures

Over the past two years I've had to learn to trust all over again. It's not been an easy road. I still have a ways to go. Two verses spoke very clearly to me about trust. Those verses are:

1. Isaiah 26:4
   Trust in the Lord always, for the Lord God is the eternal Rock.
2. Isaiah 40:31
   But those who trust in the LORD
   Shall renew their strength;
   They shall mount up with wings like eagles,
   They shall run and not be weary,
   They shall walk and not faint.

I will focus on my trust in the LORD Yahweh. It will help my be strong in HIM and build my trust in relationships.

My Life Scripture for 2011

Colossians 3:1 So if you were raised along with the Messiah, then seek the things above, where the Messiah is sitting at the right hand of God. 2 Focus your minds on the things above, not on things here on earth. 3 For you have died, and your life is hidden with the Messiah in God.

As I spent my quiet time with Yahweh this morning I read this and that to get my focus.

I came across a website called "My One Word".

Each year a great deal of us followers of "The Messiah, Yeshua", post our Life Verse(s)/Scripture for the year and focus on it for inspiration.

This year I'm going to use the My One Word plan. My life scripture is from My One Word for this year, focus.

I tend to lose sight of the things of Yahweh and need to be reminded. I don't know about you, but, I need a nudge now and again to remind me to focus. I get distracted by all the Worldly goings on. That's how the adversary would like it. When we stay focused and stay in The Word it's harder for the adversary to divert our attentions away.

I'm so thankful for such a loving, caring, compassionate, all consuming Father who seeks me. In seeking me, I shall make myself to be found by HIM so that I might delight in HIM and worship HIM.
