The Sunday Community || Avdent-Love

This is the last of the Advent Sundays and Christmas is in four days. I pray that the love of God in Yeshua the Messiah blesses you and brings you great joy and happiness!

• John 3:14-17:
  And as Moses lifted up the serpent in the wilderness, so must the Son of Man be lifted up,  that whoever believes in him may have eternal life. "For God loved the world so much that he gave his one and only Son, so that everyone who believes in him will not perish but have eternal life. God sent his Son into the world not to judge the world, but to save the world through him.
• Mark 12:30: And you shall love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your mind and with all your strength.’
• Psalm 18:1-3:
  I love you, Lord;
      you are my strength.
  The Lord is my rock, my fortress, and my savior;
      my God is my rock, in whom I find protection.
  He is my shield, the power that saves me,
      and my place of safety.
  I called on the Lord, who is worthy of praise,
      and he saved me from my enemies.

The Sunday Community || Avdent of {Rejoicing}

Zechariah 2:10 - The Lord says, “Shout and rejoice, O beautiful Jerusalem, for I am coming to live among you.

Psalm 33:21 - In him our hearts rejoice, for we trust in his holy name.

Zephaniah 3:17 - For the Lord your God is living among you. He is a mighty savior. He will take delight in you with gladness. With his love, he will calm all your fears. He will rejoice over you with joyful songs."

Psalm 32:11 - So rejoice in the Lord and be glad, all you who obey him! Shout for joy, all you whose hearts are pure!

Psalm 13:5-6 - But I trust in your unfailing love. I will rejoice because you have rescued me. I will sing to the Lord because he is good to me.

In Zephaniah 3:17 He will rejoice over you with joyful songs. God loves us enough to rejoice over me with joyful song? Not just me, but all of you too. We should respect Him enough to do it in return. Worship Him! Praise God!

The Sunday Community || Advent Sunday of Peace

Isaiah 9:6-7
For a child is born to us,
    a son is given to us.
The government will rest on his shoulders.
    And he will be called:
Wonderful Counselor, Mighty God,
    Everlasting Father, Prince of Peace.

His government and its peace
    will never end.
He will rule with fairness and justice from the throne of his ancestor David
    for all eternity.
The passionate commitment of the Lord of Heaven’s Armies
    will make this happen!
