I read something that came in my email and I listened to God Unplugged -- The Frazzled Female today. I felt the Lord wanted me to share something. I was trying to push my own ideas. I hadn't gotten to God Unplugged yet when I was trying to put together my post. However, after listening in on that show I felt the Lord telling me to go ahead and create my post. Do you love the World? Think about it and read the scriptures below; then answer your own question.
1 john 2:15-17
15 Do not love the world or the things in the world. If anyone loves the world, the love of the Father is not in him. 16 For all that is in the world—the lust of the flesh, the lust of the eyes, and the pride of life—is not of the Father but is of the world. 17 And the world is passing away, and the lust of it; but he who does the will of God abides forever.
Romans 14:16-18
16 Therefore do not let your good be spoken of as evil; 17 for the kingdom of God is not eating and drinking, but righteousness and peace and joy in the Holy Spirit. 18 For he who serves Christ in these things is acceptable to God and approved by men.
Galatians 5:22-23
22 But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, long-suffering, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, 23 gentleness, self-control. Against such there is no law.
