Psalm 61

1 Hear my cry, O God;          Attend to my prayer.  2 From the end of the earth I will cry to You,          When my heart is overwhelmed;          Lead me to the rock that is higher than I.            3 For You have been a shelter for me,          A strong tower from the enemy.  4 I will abide in Your tabernacle forever;          I will trust in the shelter of Your wings.  Selah              5 For You, O God, have heard my vows;          You have given me the heritage of those who fear Your name.  6 You will prolong the king’s life,          His years as many generations.  7 He shall abide before God forever.          Oh, prepare mercy and truth, which may preserve him!            8 So I will sing praise to Your name forever,          That I may daily perform my vows.

1. My favorite month is October because it's Autumn.

2. I love the feel of a fresh breeze. It reminds me of God breathing life into me.

3. I love to sniff the crisp Autumn air.

4. A breakfast buffet banquet with lots of food is what I like to have as a treat for breakfast.

5. The hobby I enjoy most is blogging.

6. WHAT? Oh my!

7. And as for the weekend, tonight I'm looking forward to enjoying time with my honey, tomorrow my plans include nothing in particular and Sunday, I want to Praise, Worship & Fellowship with GOD & my church family!

Here we are. The last day of September. Autumn is well on its way. Some are reporting that it's still *hot* in their area. Some are reporting the rains have started. I can claim the rains. It has been unusually warm for us this time of year. However, it has not been hot like in some areas. I for one love Autumn. It's my most favorite season out of all.

Well, my thankfuls. I've had a very busy Summer. In part, due to my massage work in the beginning of Summer. Then, in August, I had a motorcycle accident and was injured. I had to have surgery two weeks ago to correct the knee injury resulting from accident. As some Australians would say, I've been through the wars. I'm now in post surgery recovery. I'm so very thankful it all went very well in surgery and also with my post surgery follow up with the Dr.

I'm most thankful for all the blessings God bestows on me and my husband. He never ceases to amaze me with His grace and mercy.

I know this might sound strange, but, I'm thankful that the bank is taking our house back finally and that God has already provided a place for us to live with our BIG dog, Misa.

I'm not going to give a numbered list of thankfuls today. I'm just going to ad lib it. God doesn't look at everything as a list. It reminds me of a time clock or an alarm clock. It's OK sometimes, but not all the time.

There's been a lot of talk of "Lent". I'm not into that. I work hard to live my life for the LORD. I focus on being all that I can. I do slip up sometimes, as we all do. The important thing is that Jesus reels us back in "if" we let Him.

That being said. I'm so very thankful for a loving, caring, compassionate, merciful and gracioius God, that He sees right through all my imperfections. In His eyes I'm perfect because I'm fearfully and wonderfully made... in His image. I was freed from the bondage of satan's wiles when Jesus went up on that cross. I'm a slave no more. Thank YOU Jesus!

I'm so thankful for a personal relationship with God. He's the best most wonderful friend one could ask for. He never fails me. All I have to do is seek Him and believe He is the "Great I AM"! Show Him reverential respect because He deserves it. I praise and worship HIM and none other. You are all I need, as my blog friend Lisa posted on her blog this morning. Please visit Lisa's blog. She's very blessed. And take a minute to watch the video there. It's powerful!

Psalm 18:1-20

This below scripture is my victory scripture for all God has delivered me from and brought me safely through the rubble. I pray that each of you will claim victory in the Lord in the New Year! Praise the Lord!

A Psalm of David the servant of the LORD, who spoke to the LORD the words of this song on the day that the LORD delivered him from the hand of all his enemies and from the hand of Saul. And he said:
¹ I will love You, O LORD, my strength.
² The LORD is my rock and my fortress and my deliverer;
         My God, my strength, in whom I will trust;
         My shield and the horn of my salvation, my stronghold.
³ I will call upon the LORD, who is worthy to be praised;

         So shall I be saved from my enemies.

⁴ The pangs of death surrounded me,
         And the floods of ungodliness made me afraid.
⁵ The sorrows of Sheol surrounded me;
         The snares of death confronted me.

Here's my list this week.

1. I'm so very thankful for the most precious loving God I serve.
2. I'm so very thankful that God saw fit to place my husband in a new job. He's in his 2nd week now. He'll be training for another 2 1/2 weeks; then they'll turn him loose on the phone. He's a Technical Support Engineer.
3. I'm more than thankful that I'm mostly well from being ill. Praise YOU God!
4. I'm grateful that God is allowing us to keep out house. I'm am bowing prostrate before YOU Father God in thanking you profusely for allowing us to keep our house.
5. I'm thankful that my daughter seems to be getting her life together. She moved to another state to start over. She informed me earlier this week that she is now engaged. No date is set yet though. I'm grateful that God answered my prayer for reconciliation in my relationship with my daughter.
