My friend Patt in NY started a company called Soldier's Angels. It's been in business now for years. It's a 501(c)3 (not for profit) organization. So anyone who donates can write if off on their taxes.
They have all kinds of nice people putting together packages right now for Valentine's Day. People volunteer their time also.
If you feel so inclined to do so you can support a soldier during their deployment.
